Lottery prediction system - how does it work?

Post by LottoMatic » Wed Jan 04, 2017 10:10

Once the latest lottery results for a certain lottery are out, our lottery prediction system will compute the lottery predictions for the next draw and post them on the predictions page of that particular lottery, under our website. The computed predictions are basically possible next results that are being filtered based on several complex statistical facts combined.

To view the first page containing the lottery predictions, click the "Go" button next to the "Page" text box. To change the page, edit the page number and click the "Go" button again.

3 lottery predictions are randomly picked from the total available and are being posted on the social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc...). Furthermore, on each latest lotto results page, anyone (members and non-members) can view any number of lottery predictions from the available predictions pool, in chunks of five.

Note: The easiest way to find the predictions (or other lottery resources/tools) for a particular lottery is to go to the lottery results home page and click the predictions icon in any lottery card. The latest lottery results page can be loaded by clicking the "latest results" link next to the lottery name. If the lottery game you're interested in is not on the screen by default click/tap the "DISPLAY ALL LOTTERY RESULTS" (or "Lottery Results Worldwide" on some of our websites) button which is located under the lottery results displayed by default. Clicking this button will reveal all the lottery results made available by LottoMatic.

Filtering/narrowing the lottery predictions

Although the predictions are being filtered before posting them, the filters applied by the artificial intelligence are relatively wide. We strongly suggest you make use of the available filtering options to further narrow them.

Let's say you are confident that some number(s) will (or won't) be drawn during the next draw.
You can narrow down the predictions to a handfull by using the filters.

On every predictions page on our website you will find, under the "...predictions should contain" heading (on the predictions page, there will be a lottery name instead of the 3 dots) a drop-down list containing two options:

  • ANY selected below
  • ALL selected below

What this drop down menu does is to allow you to filter out predictions containing ANY of the numbers you select (by clicking on any numbers below the drop down) or ALL the numbers you select.

The next heading under the filters is labeled "...but none of the numbers selected below..."

Choosing any numbers here, will eliminate the predictions containing the numbers you selected from the list of predictions that will be returned by the system.

For example, let's say the following three lottery predictions are among the posted predictions lot:

02, 16, 23, 25, 35, 45
02, 16, 34, 36, 40, 43
05, 15, 20, 23, 29, 34

By filtering (selecting) numbers 02, 16 and 36 under the first heading (...lottery predictions should contain) and selecting the "ANY selected below" option, the first two combinations would be kept (they contain 02 OR 16 OR 36) while the third one would be hidden/eliminated since it does not contain even one of the filtered numbers.

However, if instead of "ANY selected below" the "ALL selected below" option is chosen, ONLY the second set of numbers will be returned because that's the only set containing 02 AND 16 AND 36.

Furthermore, if we also select number 43 under the "...but none of the..." heading, even the second set of lotto results in this example would be eliminated because it does contain number 43.

Hopefully all this makes sense so far.

Some lotteries have, beside the main numbers, one or more "extra" numbers (e.g. powerball, booster ball, lucky stars, etc.)
For this kind of lotteries there is an extra filter which can be applied to the extra numbers in the same way the first filter, mentioned above, is being applied to the main numbers. This third filter would be under a heading labeled similar to "... and the extra number" where the extra number would be powerball, booster ball, lucky stars, etc., depending on which lottery predictions page you're on.

Once you've configured the filters, you need to "Apply the Filter". The system will only return the lottery predictions that meet the filtering criteria that has been applied.

After the draw takes place, another two filtering options are made available.

  • "Only show me predictions matching..." - this filter allows you to display the predictions that contain a certain amount of winning numbers
  • "Order by" - After the lottery draw takes place, our system sorts the predictions by their best performance. As a result of this action, the predictions shown on the first page (first set of 10 predictions) are different from the ones that were on the first page before the draw. You can use this filter to re-sort (re-order if you will) the predictions exactly as they were before the draw took place.

The pagination system (right under the filters) allows to navigate from one page (containing 10) predictions to another. Fill in the desired page number and click the "Go" button to load the lottery predictions available on the page you filled out.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Why are there so many predictions sometimes?

A: That's right. We post a relatively large amount of predictions but hey... they are still a tiny fraction -- usually less than 5% -- of the total possible results. Combine this with the fact that we oftentimes predict the jackpot and our lottery predictions contain a very high percentage of second prize tickets each and every week. If you have a better alternative, we surely would like to know what that is.

Q: How can I verify that the predictions posted before the draw were the same as the ones I see after the draw takes place?

A: There is more than one way to do this actually. Probably the easiest way -- which is also available for non-members -- is to randomly pick some predictions from different pages. Feel free to pick as many as you wish. Copy them somewhere along with the page they were on. After the draw takes place, re-order the predictions as they were posted initially (Use the "Order by" filtering option described above) and check if the predictions you saved before the draw are present. You will find them all exactly there, with the winning numbers highlighted if there are any.

Let's say you've saved, before the draw, a prediction having six numbers (assuming it's a 6 out of ... lottery system): 1, 5, 11, 17, 23 and 30. After the draw takes place, go to the predictions page, open the filters, select 1, 5, 11, 17, 23 and 30 in the "...predictions should contain" filter. Furtermore, select the "ALL selected below", and apply the filter.

The lottery prediction you saved will be there. 100%!

Level 3 members can download the predictions in the form of a CSV file. That's what the "CSV" button on the predictions page is for. The CSV file contains all lottery predictions we posted for a certain lottery draw.

Note: The filters are available to everybody (members AND non-members) after the draw takes place so even non-members are able to check.

Q: Why is the best prediction posted under the lottery results on Facebook and Twitter is different from the 3 predictions posted previously?

A: As mentioned above, the 3 predictions we post on the social channels are 3 randomly picked predictions from the total we make available for the draw. The best prediction on the lottery results card we post on social channels represents the best prediction from all the predictions we've posted, on our website, for that particular draw.

If you have any questions related to the functionality of our lottery prediction system please reply to this topic. We will respond ASAP.

The other thing is that I just want to make a suggestion. What if every day you should be kindly posting one number that will be drawn from each lottery draw from the prediction numbers.

Hi Arson. We are glad you're asking your questions in the forums. If more users/members would do this, there would be more answers for everybody.

There is no way we can guarantee one or more numbers. We just can't. What we do is to eliminate -- most of the time -- over 90% of all possible combinations. According to our system, the combinations we eliminate have a smaller chance of being drawn.

This way, as the history of our predictions show, your odds are being increased with over 90%, and even more sometimes.

Although we wish we could guarantee some numbers, this just isn't impossible.

Hi Zabesuthu. At this point in time the only way to make a payment is via PayPal. If you have problems creating a PayPal account you need to contact them (PayPal) in order to solve the issue.

Hi there. There is no such thing as "the correct winning combinations".
As mentioned several times, we just eliminate usually over 90% of the numbers that aren't drawn. The rest (most of the time well under 10%) contains a significant number of winning combinations.
One needs to use his/her own resources to apply the filters.

Hi there,

I'm interested in becoming a paid member. I was busy comparing your different membership levels and I noticed a few things I'm unclear of (a bit of clarity would help),

1. When you say "Lottery Number Generator (30nrs), what exactly do you mean? Is it 30 different set of numbers or just 30 possible numbers that could be drawn for a particular draw?

2. Why is it important to have "Lotto Filters" as a paid member when I have numbers generated automatically and sent to me?

Thanks in advance
