Earlier this year I was looking for a way to find out if the LottoMatic number generator would be able to hit the jackpot of a lottery by generating all possible combinations but the ones that, according to our statistical data, have minimal chances of being drawn.
So I developed a custom version of the lottery number generator for this purpose and generated the numbers for 10 EuroMillions draws just to find out something quite "WOW"!
The system hit the EuroMillions jackpot 6 times out of 10!
Why EuroMillions and not another lottery?
- It has a guaranteed minimum jackpot of 15 million Euro. Although most lotteries can be beaten by using this technique, the higher the guaranteed jackpot is the higher the profit will be.
- The odds were one in 116,531,800 (now one in 139,838,160 after adding one more lucky star) which was better than most other lotteries that have a high guaranteed minimum jackpot
- The past results history were available and those are key to hit the jackpot
- All prizes, including the jackpot, are tax-free (except in Switzerland, Spain and Portugal since 2013) and are paid as a lump sum.
An important mention: Do NOT spend more money on playing the lottery than you can afford to lose comfortably.
One of the common mistakes made by lottery players as well as lottery analyzers -- be it humans or lottery tools -- is the fact that they give the individual lottery numbers way too much importance instead of looking instead at the lottery combinations that are being formed by those numbers.
Many say that numbers tend to follow a certain pattern while others stick with the idea that each and every lottery number has exactly the same chance to be drawn next time.
Well, both statements are true to a certain degree if you ask me. The problem is how to find 5 numbers (since we're talking about EuroMillions in this article) that follow the same pattern at the same time.
Then again, although all numbers have the same chance to be drawn, only 5 of them are the winning numbers each time.
Tell you what... there is a major difference between chance and probability!
The years of experience I gained while developing lottery systems show that it is the lottery combinations that follow certain patterns. They are the key to beat the lottery!
Another mistake (my opinion...) I noticed while reading hundreds of (some, while some not so) interesting lottery related articles is that people are inclined to believe in hot numbers and cold numbers. Well, this certainly is an important aspect to consider but it's just a tiny piece of a much more complex lotto strategy puzzle that need to be solved if you want to win the lottery.
At the beginning of this writing I said that my lottery number generator hit the EuroMillions jackpot 6 times out of 10, right? Well, take a look at the screen shots at the bottom of this page and read on to understand their meaning.
Let me start by saying that I spent the last few years working on a set of lottery analysis tools as well as lottery number generators most of which can be found here, on LottoMatic.info
The screen shots you see down there are the result of countless hours of work and they are as accurate as they can be in terms of generating unique lotto combinations according to various filtering criteria and, at least but not last, the generated EuroMillions results have NOT been manipulated in any way to match the winning numbers.
I just applied the filters based on the EuroMillions statistics and these were the results.
Here is a short list of requirements to hit the jackpot of pretty much any lottery out there:
- To chose the lottery we want to beat. They're not all profitable. .The key here is the guaranteed jackpot which allows to play a large number of combinations.
- Use the right lottery analysis tools.
- Use detailed lottery statistics. The more details the better the filters can be adjusted.
- A good eye for details and a logical mind
- An advanced lottery wheel
- Willingness to work on it. This is not something that can be done in the blink of an eye. It takes significant efforts!
- And at last but certainly not least, a significant amount of money to invest in lottery tickets. We're talking about beating the lottery here and not about how to win some small prizes by playing a few lottery tickets.
Now let's break these requirements down.
Choose the right lottery
I hope I already managed to make it clear why I choose EuroMillions lottery for the following reasons:
The right lottery analysis tools
The first requirement to hit the jackpot using this technique is to use the most advanced lottery analysis/reporting tools available for viewing the past behavior of the lottery combinations.
Remember what I said at the beginning of this writing..
It is the lottery combinations that follow certain patterns.
It is the lottery combinations that we need to observe more than we want to do so with the individual lotto numbers.
By generating the right combinations, the individual winning numbers will be forced to come out.
By looking at the EuroMillions statistics back then (the last 100 drawings on 2016-04-02) and at the EuroMillions numbers analyzer (which will be back on our website soon), I could see the statistical factors that helped me set up the filters in the lottery number generator. Take a look at the screenshots to see what I mean.
A good eye for details
Although the sum of the numbers wes between 44 and 183 at that time, I noticed that the sum stays mostly between 85 and 152. Any other value (such as 44) was extremely rare and -- at that point in time -- I would've bet it will stay that way.
Another interesting thing I noticed while looking at the EuroMillions statistics is that in almost each draw, at least one of the numbers is either one that was drawn in the very previous draw or a neighbor number of one drawn in the very previous draw. Very useful information since the lottery number generator allows the use of one or more keys which dramatically reduces the number of generated winning numbers.
What else? Oh, yeah, the numbers representing the drawn evens and drawn odds are pretty close to each other and I see that 75 times (33+42 according to the screenshot) out of 100 there was either 3 odds and 2 evens or 2 odds and 3 evens so I decided to set up the filters of the number generator to only keep the EuroMillions sets of numbers that have at least 2 evens and at least 2 odds.
So let's see... we have a lot of useful lottery information here. Is there any way to decide which numbers to play?
Should I play 4, 19, 23, 44 and 50 because these are the hottest EuroMillions numbers at this point? Will they all come out together just because they're so called "hot" EuroMillions numbers?
Or maybe I should play 45, 17, 11 and another 2 consecutive numbers? If so, which ones?
Oh, I know! I'll play 2 odds along with 3 evens... Yeah, right! Which ones!
Anyone looking at it in a way similar to the examples above can only win the lottery by pure luck -- which may be fun -- but that's not what we're talking about here...
Instead I'm using the advanced lottery number generator where I can filter the EuroMillions combinations based on what I learned about their behavior.
Since I wanted to go for all possible combinations that had a high probability to be the winners, I've been wheeling ALL 50 numbers and ALL 11 EuroMillions lucky stars and filtered out (kept) ONLY the unique EuroMillions combinations of 5 numbers that:
- Had a sum between 85 and 152
- Had the sum of digits that make up the numbers between 23 and 37
- Had the range (difference between highest number and lowest number) between 22 and 42
- Aren't consecutive (I didn't allow any consecutive numbers since they show up quite rarely in EuroMillions)
- Contain at least 2 evens and 2 odds
...
- Have 5 numbers that were never drawn together previously in EuroMillions
- Have 4 numbers that were NOT drawn together more than once previously in EuroMillions
...
- Contain at least one of the keys I define (repeating numbers and neighbors mentioned above)
- Etc... etc.. etc..
I've been using the same lottery number generator filters -- except for one filtering criteria -- for all 10 EuroMillions drawings (from 2016-03-01 up to 2016-04-01) and by doing so, I achieved the results seen in the screen shots.
The only filtering criteria I changed was the Key which I updated for every evaluation by typing in the current lotto numbers and its neighbors.
It took somewhere around 20 - 25 minutes -- on a decent computer -- to calculate (evaluate as I called it) the approximately 4 - 4.5 million combinations for each EuroMillions drawing.
I should mention that the actual number of generated combinations is what you see in the screenshot divided by 55. Reason is that, to make sure I hit the EuroMillions Jackpot, I developed the evaluator so that it generates 55 combinations (1 for each possible combination of EuroMillion stars) for each combination that meets the filtering criteria.
So, if I only go for the five numbers (and add let's say two random EuroMillion stars) than instead of roughly 4 point some million combinations I would have ended up with 70-80.000.
By the way, the Lottomatic predictions system is based on all that work but it doesn't have any human intervention (yet) which would improve the results a lot.
Back to the generated winning numbers, 4 million is roughly 3.5% from 116 million, right?
And the system managed to hit the jackpot 6 times out of 10...
Conclusion:
Plain and simple: You CAN win the lottery by using the right tools, the right strategy and investing the right amount of energy and money.
